I noticed that the editor of your magazine is also the bass player for Allison Weiss (whom you frequently cover). Nice artistic and editorial integrity. Do you have anything to say about that or do you just frankly not give a shit about the pertinence of your magazine?
Thanks for a response.

Hi Perry,
I’ll respond only by leaving you a couple links, which you can use to dive into exactly how “frequently” we’ve covered Allison Weiss.
The “Artists We’ve Covered” page on this site, which covers anyone we’ve had in our 13 print issues: http://athensblur.com/about/artists-weve-covered/
(I think you’ll notice Allison’s name isn’t on the list…)
A link to our old blog: http://athensblur.blogspot.com/search?q=Allison+Weiss
I went ahead and did the search for you. You’ll find two relevant posts: one about her as part of a symposium and the other as our “artist of the day” – which is decided upon, researched and written entirely by others on the editorial staff.
You could also run a quick search of this site for Allison’s name. You won’t find anything there, either…
If you’ve got anything else you’d like to discuss, drop me a line. Happy to chat it up with ya. I normally wouldn’t respond or feel the need to defend what we do here – but you’re so far off base, I thought this may help you out a bit.
It helps to employ a bit of research before popping off on a message board about the integrity of someone’s work, but I guess it’s easier to write a quick, uneducated post instead of finding out if your perceived notions have any real merit.
So to stoop to your level, do you have anything to say about that or do you just frankly not give a shit about the pertinence of your post?
wow! impressed – yo mama
