Get Excited– Kidz Bop 17 is here!
Don’t forget about the kids, especially the ones who like to ‘Bop’.
The popular, and confusingly successful Kidz Bop series has tackled another group of familiar tunes, this time singing songs like “Use Somebody” by Kings of Leon and Owl City’s “Fireflies.”
Some of the ‘covers’ don’t make much sense to me, in that you’re getting a bunch of kids to cover a bunch of kids. For example, Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the U.S.A.” and Justin Bieber’s “One Time” are both on the newest album, Kidz Bop 17, yet, I’m sure they sound almost exactly like the original. But hey, if it sells it sells.
