Not only are music fans supporting the recent European launch of Spotify, the highly sought-after music streaming service, artists are eager to see the service’s success, as well.

Alicia Keys launched her fourth studio album, “The Element of Freedom,” on Monday, December 7th, exclusively available to Spotify users. The album will officially release in Europe a week later, on December 14th, through RCA Records. It will be available the next day for U.S. fans, via MBK Entertainment/J Records.

The twelve-time Grammy Award winner also compiled two playlists for the Spotify community. The first, a compilation of her favorite songs, and the second, a complete collection of her previous releases.

Spotify is also collaborating with Keys to give away tickets to various destinations during her 2010 world tour, including London, France, Spain, and Finland.

As the music industry continues to transform, artists and industry professionals alike can support Spotify’s mission to deliver highly demanded music to fans while providing a revenue source for musicians.
